“Leave it with me” - the phrase we affectionately came to know would cure all ills! For every problem we threw at Nat and Kelly (and every attempted obstruction from our 600 year old house), a scratch of the head and a “leave it with me” solved them all. Nat and Kelly are professional, talented and lovely people. As are all of their crew. We needed two bathrooms renovated which had to be strictly in keeping with the character of the house (and my, at times, impossible vision!!). After going through a couple of other design companies who either did not understand the aesthetic we were trying to achieve, or did not feel they were capable of the work, we sent a desperate message to NK who came to our rescue. The result being two absolutely beautiful bathrooms (as well as an annexe bathroom reno, a roof replacement and multiple other jobs along the way!). We have already started the process of renovating our breakfast room which can hopefully begin sometime in 2021-2022. We really don’t want to recommend them to anyone else because we’d much prefer to keep them all for ourselves! . But on a serious note, thank you so much Nat and Kelly for bringing our vision for the house to life, we cannot possibly recommend them more highly.Read More

Natalie and Kelly took on a small project for us - redecorating a small bedroom into a nursery room. They were accommodating of our tight timeframe and brought all of my ideas to life. They were realistic with us in terms of what was achievable in our timeframe and budget, and delivered all the work (new engineered oak flooring, installation of bespoke wardrobe, repainting) to a very high standard in the agreed timeframe - working seven days a week to do so. NK living are a dream team, and they transformed my rat-infested beach house into a luxury dream vision. This was no easy task: as I had many mood boards, many changes of mood and the house had its own issues it threw at them... but their patience, expertise and the great team of trade people allowed the house to get to my dream destination. I asked them to help me with a full renovation and landscape the garden; it's certainly a wonderful luxury beach home now with 6 beautiful bedrooms, a new master en-suite and splendid family bathroom that has the best use of space now. The kitchen has been made especially for a beach house; I finally got to use an amazing Brazilian blue quartz stone for the worktop, and Natalie gave me all the courage to go for it. The casita is a world on its own - ready for an escape from the main house at any moment when the kids and noise get too much. NK are coming back shortly to finish off stage two (mainly the garden), so until then all photos will be kept under wraps.. everyone will have to wait to see the amazing creation, NK Living helped me achieve. NK helped us with the smallest extension possible +1m or so as a porch (as well as installing a better bannister and larch screen next to the stairs). Whilst it was a relatively small job, all trades were involved which meant the process was complicated, but excellently managed by Natalie and Kelly. Finishing detail was incredible as always and team were polite and patient (especially with my young son who loved to asked lots of questions - mostly "why"). They have some fantastic trades that work with them, Steve's; Plumber, Tiler, Spark, Builder .. were all great and thought about us during their job. We worked with Natalie, Kelly and their team on a renovation project for our home. It was fantastic to have Natalie co-ordinate all the different tradespeople needed for the work (carpenter, carpeter, plumber, decorators, electrician). It took a lot of stress out of the project and we really valued Natalie's organised and exacting approach. It was fantastic to see our ideas made a reality and everything was done to a very high standard. Once again the NK LIVING team have done another fabulous job ! This is the 2nd time I have used the team on a big renovation job and they have exceeded once again . This project was an modest auction property that needed total renovation . New heating , electrics , plastering , bathroom , loo . Making an open plan kitchen and decorating . The job had to be done within 6/7 wks as I was renting and paying a mortgage at the same time so We needed to get the job done ASAP . They made it happen ! Careful project management by Natalie was crucial and this is one of their huge assets . The team are professional , creative ,tidy and all in all a great bunch . NK Living created a beautiful bathroom for me recently. They came up with some creative ideas to achieve a unique look, incorporating a large shower with a stone seat, bespoke vanity unit and shelving storage space. NKLiving took charge of our project after being let down by our original architect and we were grateful to them for stepping in at the building stage and guide us through. Everything ran to schedule due to Natalie’s organisation and Kelly’s commitment. Nat & Kelly have been a joy to work with. They were initially hired to design, arrange and build a kitchen/diner conversion, this quickly got upscaled to a utility room, cloakroom, hallway and playroom upgrade! They are on hand to answer any queries, and relieve any inevitable mid-project doubts. They are perfectionists with an impeccable eye but sensible approach to ensure costs are controlled and the project moves forward. If Nat & Kelly can’t do the job themselves they know someone who can and will arrange it all rather than having to deal with multiple contractors. They have worked solidly through the extreme conditions (within the context of UK weather) - building out the utility room in the snow and laying patio in the recent heat. We have been kept up to date on all the moving parts and I couldn’t recommend them enough. We’ll be sad to see them go (so we’ll probably find something else for them to do!)Read More

They got Phils ideas and sourced our amazing reclaimed baseball court flooring, introduced us to Naked Kitchens and Buster & Punch switches. We found NK Design on a good-looking business card. They came round promptly and discussed what they could do for us based on our requirements. They came up with their own suggestions which we hadn't thought of and we booked them after receiving their quote. Nat and Kelly are great. Helpful, friendly and full of ideas. NK Design & Build completely renovated our Victorian detached house in Surrey. They took full responsibility for project managing and completing all works. This included: - a new kitchen - a new WC - re-plastering of the entire house and repainting - Installing 2 x bifold doors - design and landscaping of front and back gardens/ driveway - remodelling of downstairs layout - removing walls, windows etc. - new roof The entire project took just 4 months and was completed on time and within the agreed budget (including contingency). We are really happy with the end result and enjoyed working with Natalie and Kelly along way. They are very professional and friendly and always provided design advice and options depending our budget. The project management oversight offered by Natalie meant we had peace of mind throughout the experience and avoided potential problems in dealing with multiple trades.
