Surrey Hills Cottage & Garden

In the Surrey Hills, we designed a new ground floor extension for an iron stone period cottage. Replacing a cold, conservatory with a spacious kitchen and dining space, we restored the exterior wall to add character to the space. Roof lights spread natural light onto the bespoke kitchen.

Down the hallway is a contemporary bathroom finished in a beautiful tadalekt plaster and brass hardware. The guest bedroom is in a neutral design , fit with air-conditioning and underfloor heating. There is access to the courtyard garden through bespoke aluminium doors.

Exterior changes include replacing the windows with flush casements in colour 'Painswick'. We designed the garden to have planters surrounding the courtyard with steps towards a fire pit and outdoor shower.
